Meet the Team

Our Team members are Aidan, Helena, Charlotte, Evie and James. We are all in Year 11 and have taken part in STEM Racing for the last few years.

Evie is the Team Manager – the best thing about my job is how I am able to trust the team and help them with the developments with my own view and understanding of the task. My key responsibilities in the team are to create deadlines, set tasks and constantly check the teams mental health and workload.

Charlotte is the Enterprise Coordinator – the best things about my job is how I am able to learn new things that I can adapt to use in my future careers. My main responsibilities in the team are to ensure everything we do is sustainable and remains consistent to our team identity. Including the design and manufacturing of our Pit Display.

Helena is the Marketing Executive – I most enjoy being able to meet and introduce new companies to the STEM Racing process through collaboration between our team and their business. My main tasks are to secure sponsorship for our team as well as to organise fundraising events.

Aidan is the Testing Engineer and Scrutineer – I enjoy researching different methods and new innovative ways to improve our car. I find it very rewarding to create new ideas that prove to be effective. I primarily perform physical and CFD testing on our car as well as scrutineering.

James is the CAD Engineer – I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my role; being able to see our designs come to life is a great reward for the hours of research and development that goes into our car. My main responsibilities are to work closely with the other members of the team to model & manufacture our car.

Having won our Regional heat we are now through to the National Finals. This is being held in the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham on Tuesday 24th March to Thursday 26th March.
